This week we will be taking portraits of underclass students in our school. All of you will be asked to help in this endeavor. We also need to begin working on methods for retouching photographs. There are lots of ways of accomplishing the same goal when using Photoshop. In the first exercise that we will be studying, we will be using the History Brush and brush modes to add drama to any image. I learned this technique by reading this blog post by Greg Sims on the photofocus site. This is an alternative to using the dodge and burn tool. Download this file for practice images we'll be working with to learn this technique.
