Erin, Jackee and Anthony came up with the idea of doing something different with the normal group shots that are common in yearbooks that have been done in the past. You can see a sample of what we came up with here.
This worked out nearly perfectly for our program's numbers. But there are a few programs with higher enrollment and a few with lower enrollment. As a work-around, I've created a few basic containers that might address the issue.
Our next step is to try to figure out what is the best method for creating this graphic for each program. Do we put the entire piece together in InDesign, or do we create the collage in Photoshop layers and then place that image on our InDesign page? I"m leaning towards Photoshop as this will allow us to edit dark or color casted images easier.
