I will be attending an Educational Technology conference from Monday through Wednesday this week. While I'm out I have three different projects I'd like you to work on creating. Please post finished scans of your progress on these projects as they will be combined for a major project grade. It is your choice as to the order you wish to work on these. Please clean up after yourself and be sure to put caps on pens!
These are generally done on small cards using a pencil and fine point marker or pen. If you've done these before, you might want to challenge yourself by doing a zentangle animal like below:
I am going to be out of the classroom today. This morning the Hussian School of Art is coming to present their program to us. Afterwards I would like everyone to make an attempt at a Zentangle. Below are some student samples from past years. You will be using the supplies left on the art tables to create your own. Get creative with this and I will see you all again on Tuesday!
This week we worked with two basic skills - zentangle drawing/doodling and cutting mats to present a finished work to a client/customer. We used ink pens, pencils, prismacolor markers and our new mat cutter to fiinish the work. Will add to the collection as we finish our first project.
Mr. Tucker is in his 22nd year as the instructor for the Graphic Arts program. Prior to his teaching career he worked in the flexography industry for ten years and in quick printing for ten years.
