1. I agree with the main thought of this article because there is a lot of things you don't realize when coming in terms with making artwork. You should never make something just to make it, but because you enjoyed making it and it's something that you can find more playful rather than work. This article tells you a lot about how what you create and what you publish should come from your body and the things you like in your mind. And that's very useful information and advice since a lot of artists are just artists because they can't think of anything more to be in their lives.

Everything is from something else, if we didn’t have anything we couldn’t imagine anything. The more stuff we have the more ideas multiply. For instance someone invented wireless headphones from just regular headphones. All ideas opinions, and imagination is inspired by what is around us.

1) I do agree with the basic premise of the article. It teaches you a lot about what artists are like and how they see things. it really teaches you how to be a better artist.

1) I do agree with the article for the most part. I loved it and thought it was really inspiring. I wish I had found this article earlier, because it made me think about things I never really stopped to think about before.

A) I agree and disagree it might be an original idea or it might be something someone is stealing.

# Do you agree with the basic premise of this article? Why or why not? I agree a lot of the artists out there do come up with original ideas but they are usually based off of other ideas from other artists most of the time whether they realize it or not

Wow - you guys really did a great job with this assignment. Asking you what you believe is something I need to do more. It made me like you even more. Your answers show courage, wisdom, and a curiosity that I really respect. If you didn't respond yet - you really should. I don't thank you enough for working with me - but thanks!

I agreed with pretty much all of this article. This guy was brutally honest about art, and how stealing is what you’re really doing. He was saying that something needs to inspire you before you can create something of your own.

As a culture, we literally build atop what is left of yesteryear; this concept can apply to the lifestyle of an artist as well. Modern Art has often been criticized as a form of Artistic Expression that lacks merit and above all dedication, people often complain when faced with a painting such as No. 5, 1948 simply because of it's simplistic nature and existence. But there is one thing Pollock did that none of his critics did, like most forms of modern art; he beat them to it.

I agree completely with his argument. When something is created it is almost always a rip off of a previous idea. Things are remade or recreated but nearly every idea is already taken by someone in the world. Comments are closed.
